Dawn Miller – CEO

Dawn Miller

Dawn Miller is a brand strategy and crisis PR specialist with more than 10 years experience serving clients ranging from global corporations to industry leaders and entertainment icons. As CEO and President of Miller PR, she oversees client strategy for the agency’s Corporate Entertainment, Lifestyle and Digital Media divisions as well as operations and business development.

Miller has overseen PR campaigns for entertainment brands and personalities such as Paris Hilton, Stan Lee, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Peter Guber, Carson Daly, Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation, The Gersh Agency and litigation specialists Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump & Aldisert.

Prior to founding Miller PR, Dawn Miller was President and COO of Levine Communications Office (LCO), overseeing a twofold expansion of the venerable public relations firm and successfully launching divisions serving the publishing, film and digital entertainment industries. She joined LCO in 2002, serving three years as Director before taking over day-to-day leadership of the agency.

Miller started her career working for Sharp Electronics U.K and Manchester United Football Club. Her experience with these two global lifestyle and entertainment brands helped Miller acquire a deep understanding of business, branding and marketing strategies.

Miller serves on the Board of Women in Film Foundation and Co-Chairs the WIF Marketing Committee. She is also a member of the PR Committee of the British Academy of Film, Television & Arts (BAFTA LA).

Jennifer Morgerman

Fifteen-year public relations veteran Jennifer Morgerman oversees the day-to-day management of the agency’s staff and providing strategic guidance and insight on campaigns.

Over the course of her career, Morgerman has worked for such well-regarded entertainment organizations as Lionsgate Films, the American Film Institute and the Yari Film Group. Her roles at these companies included overseeing publicity campaigns for dozens of movies, handling corporate communications and building successful publicity teams.

Morgerman worked for Lionsgate from 1997 until 2004, starting with the company in its early stages in New York and playing a key role in its expansion into a Los Angeles-based mini-studio. She worked on such notable releases as the Oscar-winning Affliction, Secretary and Monster’s Ball, taking the latter film from production through its Oscar® campaign, which culminated in a historic Best Actress win for Halle Berry. Morgerman was involved in every facet of the independent studio’s business activities, including production, marketing and distribution. This experience afforded her invaluable insight into the inner workings of the entertainment industry and helped her gain the wide-ranging public relations skills she brings to Miler PR campaigns.

Theo Dumont

Theo Dumont

Theo Dumont is a seasoned PR executive with a deep knowledge and understanding of the entertainment industry. At Miller PR he works primarily in the areas of corporate entertainment and digital entertainment, providing counsel to many of the film industries most respected companies and creators including The Gersh Agency and Stan Lee.

Dumont’s public relations experience spans the areas of corporate communications, talent publicity, film publicity and digital entertainment, having previously worked as the Director of Public Relations in corporate communications for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). During his tenure at the studio, Dumont was responsible for implementing communications and public relations initiatives for various divisions including United Artists, MGM HD, MGM Consumer Products, MGM Worldwide Digital Media, MGM Theatrical Distribution, MGM Worldwide Television Distribution, MGM Networks, MGM Home Entertainment and MGM Direct-To-Video.

Dumont is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the HollyShorts Film Festival. Now in its sixth year, the L.A.-based festival has featured the participation of stars and filmmakers include Jessica Biel, Josh Brolin, Paul Haggis, Eli Roth, David Lynch, Demi Moore and Kirsten Dunst.

Jocelyn Johnson

Jocelyn JohnsonJocelyn Johnson specializes in the area of digital media. She has worked on campaigns for Miller PR clients including Starlight Runner Entertainment, Xbox Independent Video Channel, Machinima and Animax Entertainment among many others.

Johnson manages day-to-day public relations activities of a number of key clients in the digital media and lifestyle divisions and oversees the execution of multiple campaigns.

Prior to joining Miller PR, Johnson worked in sales and marketing for Kasil, a premium denim brand based in Los Angeles. She quickly advanced to Senior Sales Representative after cultivating strong client relations and managing 25 key clients. Johnson stays connected to the latest news and innovations in the gaming, mobile and Internet worlds, ensuring the agency has its finger on the pulse of what’s happening next in digital culture and entertainment.
